Matilda and Ivy Get New Glasses~a photo story
“I can’t wait to get my glasses!” Said Ivy (aka Jasmine). “I can!” said Matilda. “Don’t be a grump, Matti!” replied Ivy.
“Here we are!” said AmyJayne. “I like those pink glasses!” said Matilda loudly. “Me to!” giggled Ivy.
“hmmm, Red doesn’t look very good on me.” sighed Matilda
“But it looks great on me!!” Ivy said, looking in the mirror. “Let’s try the pink ones like mine now.” said Amy “Okay!” said the others.
“Those look awesome, Matti!” Said her bff, AmyJayne
“Oooh!” squeaked Ivy “These look awesome!” And they are piiiiinnnnkk!!” “Hurry and choose, Ivy!” giggled AmyJayne
“I want the pinks ones!” yelled Ivy. “But he red ones look silly on me!” Matilda relied loudly. “I’m sorry,” said Ivy quietly. “you have the pink ones.” “Thanks! You are the best!” Grinned Matilda.
“Let’s go pay!” Said Ivy.

Cute! But Matilda’s hair, not so much…
The girls who owned Matilda tried to put her hair in pigtails, but one of the hairties got stuck. I fixed her hair a bit, but I had to cut an inch and a half of frizz of it (this was a few months after the photostory).

Great story, Brittany! I love the little bag in the pictures – Where did you get it? If you go to this site “www.dollsclothespatterns.net” and sign up you can get a free pattern for a really nice bag to make for your doll and later they send you a free download so you can print off your own doll-sized money to put in it. (American dollar notes, but that’s okay.) They have other simple things to make for your doll too.

Hi Brittany! I forgot to ask yesterday – Where did you get the glasses the girls were wearing? I’ve seen some online (at American Girl) but none here. I’d like to get some.
I got the glasses from ebay. They are really made American girl, but they fit fine! They might still be some on buy it now. I looked up American Girl Doll Glasses. Hope I helped!
