Working on the ad for the Australian Girl Club back in November was tons of fun! I went to a friends house to film, because of all the great lighting and places to shoot. I was loaded with cameras and camera gear.
First, I talked to my ‘cast’ about the different ‘sketches’ we needed to film and gathered props. Once we knew where everything would be shot we started working on costumes. Both of the girls wore matching white shirts and matching shorts. Then we went through a whole box of dolls clothes and came up with a cute costume for each doll.
We did tons of different sketches, some (like jasmine playing the violin) where not used in the final ad. We also tools several takes of each sketch to make sure we would have something to work with.
It was lots of fun, and it was really hard not to giggle the whole time! We are hoping to shoot some more AuG ads soon!
